HBA Local Ministries
The Harmony Baptist Association Churches are planted in Central Missouri for the sake of the gospel to reach Sedalia, Missouri and to the ends of the earth. Below are a few ministries available to our local churches and community. Please contact our churches or our association office if you have any questions about these gospel ministries.
HBA Kids Camp (A ministry of the Harmony Baptist Association)
Camp is one of the great opportunities for gospel proclamation and an invitation for children to grow in their faith. Kids Camp is for boys and girls who have completed Grades 3 through 6. Register here!
The Prophets Chambers (A ministry of the Harmony Baptist Association)
Our association facilities have two apartments that serve to house visiting pastors, missionaries and other visitors for our local church and associational events. These apartments can house your next guest preacher for a revival or bible conference. If your local church would like to reserve the prophets chamber, contact the Office Administrator at harmonyoffice@hbamo.org.
First Biblical Counseling (A ministry of First Baptist of Sedalia)
The purpose of First Biblical Counseling is to help both FBC Sedalia members and non-members grow in the Lord, receive peace in the Lord, thrive in knowing Jesus Christ, and receive deep satisfaction and fulfillment in following him. The Summer Preaching Series (A ministry of the Harmony Baptist Association)
The Summer Preaching Series is a sermon training and preaching opportunity at our associational churches. It is our goal to strengthen, encourage, equip and train up biblically adept and faithful leaders in the Harmony Baptist Association. This years training workshop is on May 16th. The Embassy (A ministry supported by Olive Branch Baptist Church)
The Embassy is a non-denominational, faith-based restoration ministry. The Embassy welcomes those held captive in a life of brokenness, deception and manipulation but seek a new productive and healthy life in Jesus Christ.
Missouri Food Bank Truck (A ministry hosted by Bethany Baptist Church)
Bethany Baptist Church is blessed to host the Missouri Food Bank Truck on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 4 to 5pm. The public is welcome. If you need food, visit us! We do not require paperwork to verify any information but an ID with your name and address is helpful.
The Baptist Tent at the Missouri State Fair (A ministry of the Missouri Baptist Director of Missions)
In 2025, a total of 184 Missouri Baptist volunteers (representing 16 churches and 10 associations) worked in the Baptist Tent at the Missouri State Fair. This is an opportunity to evangelize and train your congregation to grow more comfortable in sharing the only hope to the thousands of fair-goers each year.
